Full Day Rome on a Budget by Train
7-Hour Walking Tour
In our opinion:
All most important sites of Rome with Vatican, Old and Ancient city by quick train ride from Civitavecchia |
In our customers opinion:
„The train ride was additional attraction for our kids and proved quicker then a cruise group bus ride, so we had more time in Rome”
Why Go
Once off the cruise ship a free shuttle bus will pick you up and take you to the front entrance of the port.
From there you will walk about four blocks to the train station. You will buy an all day pass „BIG” for 9 Euro (good for the train ride to Rome, on the subway in Rome and the ride home) You will be picked up and dropped off at the train station ( TERMINI STATION ) in Rome by your private guide who will take you in and around most important sights. You will walk and use public transportation to move around.
You will have the opportunity to view many sights in a short time including St. Peter’s, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Forum, Capitol Hill, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Venezia. You guide will have pre purchaed admission tickets to skip lines and save your time.
